Bikes N Bites- Cowboy Beans

Cowboy Beans

 

What better way to beat old man winter than to mix up some “Cowboy Beans.” Here’s our rendition of a winter favorite.

 

Ingredients:

·       1 lb Bacon, cooked and crumbled

·       2 tbsp Bacon drippings

·       1 lb Ground beef

·       45oz of Kidney beans

·       3 Small Onions

·       45oz of Pork and beans

·       45oz Navy beans

·       1 cup Ketchup

·       1/2 cup Molasses

·       3 tbsp yellow mustard

·       1 cup Brown sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

1.   In a large skillet, cook and drain the ground beef and onions

2. Drain all of the beans and add to the crockpot.  Combine the cooked ground beef, onions, and condiments to your crock pot.

3. Cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.

 

4. Enjoy!
